Hannah Brown Scholarship

The Hannah Brown CDC Scholarship Program recognizes students who wish to further their educational pursuits by entering colleges, universities, and trade schools. In doing so, the HBCDC is proud to help contribute to students and their efforts to become productive, contributing members of society.

CRITERIA:

  1. Must be a graduating high school senior in Nevada;
  2. Must be a student currently enrolled in a viable 2-year or 4-year college, university, or trade school;
  3. Must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA or better (transcript required);
  4. Must pursue an undergraduate degree or enter a trade school in one year.


GUIDELINES:

  1. Submit a one-page essay (300-500 words) based on the following theme: “Describe how you have demonstrated leadership ability both in and out of school.”
  2. Provide (2) letters of recommendation from educators or community representatives that discuss your community volunteerism, if applicable.
  3. Submit official or unofficial accumulative transcript verifying the GPA of 2.5 or better.
  4. Completed application must be postmarked no later than April 15, 2026. Incomplete applications or applications with missing documents will not be considered. Mail applications to: Crawford Management Group Attn: HBCDC Scholarship Committee 431 S. 6th St. Las Vegas, NV 89101
  5. Recipients will be notified by email.


AWARDS:

The HBCDC will award scholarships based on proof of enrollment in a viable 2-year or 4-year college, university, or trade institution.


Awardees may also reapply for a scholarship ANNUALLY, for up to 3 years. Reapplication requires a 2.7 GPA, a current academic transcript, and proof of upcoming enrollment. An essay is optional.
