Clark County Small Business Grant Program!

The competitive grant program supports the growth, retention, and expansion of small businesses located in Clark County Commission District D. Eligible businesses may receive direct small business grants pending final approval by the Urban Chamber of Commerce as follows:

  • Home-based businesses: $5,000.00 (total grant amount)
  • Storefront businesses: $10,000.00 (total grant amount)

The goals of this program are to:

Serve as a catalyst for job creation and economic development within District D. Assist small business owners who may lack access to traditional financing. Encourage long-term support for business operations and community impact. Strengthen the local economy through targeted investments in small enterprises.

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify, applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Have 20 or fewer full-time employees as of January 2025 (sole proprietors and home-based businesses are eligible).
  • Have been in operation for at least 6 months prior to January 1, 2025.
  • Hold an active business license in Clark County or in your respective jurisdiction (City of Las Vegas or City of North Las Vegas).
  • Hold no federal, state, or county tax liens.
  • Operate a business physically located within Clark County Commission District D.

  2. Type your business street address in the search bar
  3. Scroll down and click on the "Elected Officials" tab
  4. If it says:
    Commissioner: D - William McCurdy II (D)
    Then your business is eligible
    Or view the Clark County District D map (PDF)

Ineligible Business Types

The following businesses are NOT eligible for this grant:

  • Adult-oriented businesses
  • Cannabis-related businesses
  • Massage parlors
  • Liquor stores
  • Bail bond services
  • Check cashing facilities
  • Payday or short-term loan providers
  • Non-profit organizations
  • State or federally certified labor unions

Important Note

This is a competitive grant opportunity, and funding is limited. Early and complete applications will receive priority. All awards are subject to eligibility verification, review of submitted materials, and final approval by the Urban Chamber of Commerce.
